My name is Dragan Simeunović, 36 years old European citizen since recently I have my own Shipibo Indian identity, and in this new universe, my name is Roni Sanken. The life of the Shipibo people is deeply connected with the life of the rainforest, their knowledge, wisdom, and medicine originate from this universal source of life. They were never part of the Inca Empire – in the embrace of their rainforests, they remained concealed from Spanish conquerors for many years. I invite you to join me on the path of visiting my personal pilgrimage as well as getting to know the wonderful Shipibo tradition to which I belong.

Exotic conditions place large demands on us as travel organizers. We never compromise on quality or safety, but continuously pick up the pieces of the puzzle and put them together to make a journey with us perfect. Eco Explorer have been specialist for more than 20 years and we have always kept the same promise to our customers – we do not compromise with safety and quality.
It began – like all good things –on studies. Way back in the late 1990s we met on studies and discovered a shared passion for adventure trips and exploration. Our journeys turned into published books, photographs and presentations. And Eco Explorer has kept true to its roots, offering authentic and uncommon experiences, with many special and personal touches.

We are based in San Jose, Costa Rica, and our specialty is crafting journeys in the world’s most unforgettable places, cultures, civilizations and communities — complete with incredible local food, one-of-a-kind hotels, and more. Renowned for our innovative small group tours with many special touches, Eco Explorer has also become a leading light in conservation efforts and support of local communities.
